The Public Sector Equality and Human Rights Duty - All public bodies in Ireland have responsibility to promote equality, prevent discrimination and protect the human rights of their employees, customers, service users and everyone affected by their policies and plans. This is a legal obligation and it originated in Section 42 of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Act 2014.
The GNI Principles - Every day, technology companies receive requests from governments around the world to censor content, restrict access to communications services, or provide access to user data. The global network initiative principles aim to protect and advance freedom of expression and privacy in the global Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry.
